Learn how to make kite paper star with us!
We use Mercurius kite paper. Each pack includes 100 square sheets with 10 different colors. Sheet size is 16×16 cm/6.3×6.3 inch.
For this star we need 8 sheets of kite paper.
Fold each sheet in half and cut or tear it.
Fold each rectangle in half lengthwise.
Unfold and then fold each corner as shown on the photos below.
Then again fold each corner to make a diamond shape as shown below.
We made 8 red and 8 yellow diamonds.
Now it’s time to assemble our star!
Place one section on the top of another as shown on the photo below. Use transparent sticky tape to secure it in place. Continue joining sections till you complete the circle.
Attach your star to a window with a piece of transparent tape.
It has really transformed our room!
